I used the Richard Williams technique and I like it cos the blink is awesomely smoooooooooth.

A little bit more time, about 10 t0 20 frames, before the blink happens would help viewer orientation on this clip.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to see you collaborate with other animators. Animation is a collaborative process.
You now have a foundation blink you can use every time a though crosses your characters' mind(s). The timing and spacing on the blink will vary based on what the character is thinking.
How about posting a 2 second clip with a 'think blink' applied to your character in an EAPS?
